Excellent for Mentoring Relationships
Although we don't have a formal mentoring program in our church I have started a mentoring relationship with an older godly woman in my church. We had intended to start with material I previously used in peer accountability relationships but, when I found this book, we decided to see if this would be more instructive. Particularly since my mentor had never formally mentored before. We just completed the first study this week and we are both hooked. The mentor feels as if she has some direction and I (the mentee) feel as if I am not the one doing the leading. I think we are both going to grow closer to each other and to God through this study. Hopefully the Lord will multiply this into a mentoring program in our church. Thank you, ladies, for writing it!
